Dear Boston Harbor Families,

We have had a fantastic start to our school year! A huge thank you to our amazing teachers who were in the building for many days in August preparing their classrooms for what we know will be a great year ahead. Another huge thank you to our amazing PTA, who stocked our staff room with delicious snacks and sparkling beverages to get us through the first few weeks. We are very grateful and very lucky. 

We are also so incredibly lucky to have the best front office staff with Jenn Haws and Cindy Watson, who create such a welcoming environment, as do our other support staff and our talented and amazing para educators. We truly do have the most wonderful staff here at BHES.

This Wednesday we welcomed all of our new Kindergarten students, which is always such a highlight at the start of the school year. There were zero tears (well, from the students anyway 😄) and they are all adjusting to school so well. It is so nice to see our older students helping and showing them the routines in the lunch room and out at recess. I feel very proud of the way our BHES students show up for one another in so many different ways.

I am so looking forward to all the fun events we will have this year, starting with next Friday’s Harbor Hustle! If you haven’t signed up yet, you are not too late! Harbor Hustle Registration.  Looking forward to seeing you there!
