OSD Language Access Plan

The Olympia School District’s Language Access Plan affirms Board Policy 4217 and 4218 and their accompanying procedures, which support establishing effective, two-way communication between the school district and family members with limited English proficiency, and promote access for such families to programs, services and activities of the District.

OSD Board Room 3D Community Mosaic

A 3D-printed community mosaic is being installed in the Olympia School District board room to welcome the community into the district offices. Designed by Orion Hoppe (Olympia High School, Class of 2024) in collaboration with the Maker’s Den, the sign features a mosaic of 3D-printed parts inspired by the We the Builders project. Andrew Woodbridge’s Advanced 3D Design & Fabrication students at OHS managed the project, collecting and assembling all the pieces.

July 2025 Skyward Qmlativ Launch

The Olympia School District has been gearing up for a major information system upgrade: transitioning from Skyward SMS 2.0 to Skyward Qmlativ in July 2025. This move promises enhanced functionality across key areas of student information, payroll, finance and human resources. It also improves the functionality of both Family and Student access.
